ABOUT SVF
Sarvo Vikash Foundation is more than just an NGO—it's a movement rooted in the heart of Sindhanur, Karnataka, driven by a unique story of migration, resilience, and a deep commitment to upliftment. Our journey began with the migration of Bengali families from Bangladesh during the India-Pakistan war in the late 1972. Settling in four distinct villages of Sindhanur, we built a life of perseverance amidst challenges, carrying with us the spirit of unity, hope, and community.
Today, Sarvo Vikash Foundation stands as a testament to this legacy—a collective effort by individuals from diverse backgrounds, coming together with a shared purpose: to empower, uplift, and transform lives across all communities. While our roots are in the Bengali diaspora of Karnataka, our heart beats for everyone in need, regardless of background or origin.
We are not here to merely provide temporary relief but to build long-term, sustainable solutions that address the core challenges faced by marginalized communities. Our focus spans across key areas—education, healthcare, empowerment, infrastructure, and environmental conservation—but we are driven by an unyielding belief that true transformation happens when communities are engaged, individuals are empowered, and every voice is heard.
What sets us apart is our approach: grounded in empathy, driven by innovation, and led by a commitment to social responsibility. We don’t just want to make an impact; we aim to create an ecosystem of change where every effort, big or small, contributes to a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
At Sarvo Vikash Foundation, we are more than changemakers; we are a community of individuals bound by the shared belief that together, we can build a better tomorrow.
